Our Story
It was a normal Tuesday evening when my phone lit up with a notification—a message from the New Dads 2023 WhatsApp group I had just joined.
I glanced down to see:
"Has anyone tried the Nuna travel stroller? Is it worth importing?"
Within minutes, the replies flooded in:
"My sister swears by the Chicco one, but I can't find it anywhere in stock."
"Does anyone know someone flying in from Dubai?"
"I've been searching for a specific organic cotton crib sheet for TWO DAYS now!"
That’s when it hit me—shopping as a parent is full of elaborate side quests.
Once our daughter arrived, each new phase brought new challenges. Finding a feeding bottle she would actually take to. Sourcing safe, engaging art supplies. Travel-friendly activities. Let’s not even talk about shoes.
But what struck me most wasn’t just how difficult it was—it was the stark contrast to everything else in our lives.
Groceries arrived in 10 minutes (so did iPhones). I’d booked movie tickets, scheduled an AC repair, and even ordered a custom birthday cake—all in less time than it took me to understand the difference between travel systems and prams.
The convenience we were used to as consumers faltered for parenting.
And it wasn’t just us. Every parent we knew was hacking together their own solutions:
- Meera, who drove from Indiranagar to JP Nagar to pick up gently used baby items from strangers online.
- Amrita, who maintained a collaborative spreadsheet with her husband, tracking 42 different items across multiple categories.
- Rahul, who routinely did last-minute store runs to buy decent gifts for kids’ parties.
That’s when the idea for Aaram was born.
We built what every parent we knew was searching for:
A single, trusted destination that understands the journey of parenthood.
A place where finding the perfect first book is as simple as tapping a button.
Where environmentally friendly toys arrive as fast as your groceries.
Where curated, reliable choices replace the endless hours of research.
We created Aaram so that your time can go where it matters most—
not in searching for products, but in the beautiful, messy, wonderful moments with your child.
